Google's AI head told employees that he was not worried about China’s DeepSeek AI and noted that the U.S. company has superior AI technology.

Demis Hassabis, Google’s AI Chief, feels confident in the company’s ability to maintain its lead in the AI sector despite the emergence of China’s DeepSeek. Hassabis claimed Google has models that can not only compete but beat out the field.

Despite it rattling markets and Silicon Valley, Google’s (GOOGL) artificial intelligence head isn’t worried about Chinese AI startup, DeepSeek.
