Residents in flood-affected areas of far north Queensland are being told to be prepared to evacuate after an "incredible" amount of rain fell overnight.
Authorities are warning the worst is yet to come for flooded parts of north Queensland, with three-day rainfall totals set to top 1000 millimetres.
