It was a second-half comeback against West Ottawa on Jan. 17 that sparked the Grand Haven boys basketball team to a stretch of its best basketball of the season.

The Bucs girls' basketball team wanted last week's loss to Hudsonville to serve as a wake-up call, and it appears to have done precisely that.
