There is a very interesting trade package that could see the Los Angeles Lakers acquire Chris Paul in a proposal that includes Rui Hachimura and other assets to give LeBron James and Anthony Davis a new point guard.

One insider thinks the LA Lakers can help facilitate a trade for two of their Western Conference rivals while getting back assets of their own.

In light of Paul George's struggles, Sporting News proposed a Lakers trade that would send the All-Star back to his native of Los Angeles.

If the Los Angeles Lakers aren't interested in adding a reliable point guard before the Feb. 6 trade deadline, they should at least pursue a viable low-post partner for Anthony Davis. Landing a former Boston Celtics center who carved out a respectable role with the franchise could help strengthen their frontcourt.
