New York Attorney General Letitia James weighed in on the ongoing dispute between MSG Networks and Altice on Monday, warning that she is watching out for consumers’ interests as the standoff approaches the two-week mark.

Letitia James waded into the fray days after MSG Networks and Optimum exchanged scathing statements Friday about the saga.

MSG Networks carries the Islanders, Rangers and Devils games in addition to the Knicks. A carriage dispute is a disagreement over compensation between the distributor, which is Altice, to carry a channel from the provider, which is MSG Networks.

New York Attorney General Letitia James commented on the continuing stalemate between Altice and MSG Networks, which has blacked out New York Knicks, Rangers, Islanders, and New Jersey Devils games for local residents since the start of 2025.
