Fires across the Los Angeles area have killed at least 25 people. The Palisades and Eaton wildfires are still burning in Southern California.

A portion of Los Angeles and Ventura counties will face a "Particularly Dangerous Situation" this week, as strong winds threaten to add on to three active fires that have killed at least two dozen people and destroyed thousands of structures-in some of the most devastating wildfires in California history.

The extreme red flag warning goes into place overnight and ends Wednesday afternoon, the National Weather Service says.
