The 127-year-old cultural institution on the edge of City Park will be closed to guests on specific days in February and March as workers replace a water main, the Zoo posted on Facebook. The closure dates are Feb. 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, and 26, and March 3, 4, and 5.”

The Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance says that the facility will close to replace a current water line main, which is approximately 50 years old. The water line main replacement is a critical improvement to the water infrastructure and will prevent future leaks and losses of water on the facility grounds.

The Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance said work on the water main will affect six dates in February and three dates in early March.
