Thursday marks another busy day of hearings for President-elect Trump’s Cabinet nominees as his inauguration approaches. The day will feature Lee Zeldin, the nominee to run the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA);

The Senate quickly confirmed Marco Rubio as secretary of state Monday, voting unanimously to give President Donald Trump the first member of his new Cabinet on Inauguration Day.

Both sides agree that it will be Trump who decides if Rubio is MAGA enough to remain a member of his administration and represent his views around the world. He unceremoniously fired his first secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, via tweet, and has long made clear he views foreign policy as his domain.

Mr. Ratcliffe said at his confirmation hearing on Wednesday that the United States was witnessing an “invasion through our digital borders from half a world away, in a few seconds and a few keystrokes.” He argued that America’s ability to deter such attacks had faltered.
