For a moment, there was a worry that the Buffalo Bills' top-tier linebacker tandem would not be fully intact for a crucial postseason matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Fortunately, linebacker Terrel Bernard has calmed any concern.

ORCHARD PARK - A season-long trend, one in which the Buffalo Bills had been given a reprieve from in the last few weeks, has returned at quite an inopportune time: Injuries on the defensive side of the ball.

Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano (biceps/hamstring) remained limited during Thursday's practice session. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status during Friday's final session, but seeing him remain a limited participant is a positive sign.

Milano has been limited in consecutive practices due to a hamstring injury he likely picked up during Buffalo's divisional-round win over Baltimore. He's not in realistic danger of missing Sunday's AFC Championship Game against Kansas City unless he suffers a setback in Friday's practice.

Von Miller was a menace against his former team. Buffalo had limited Miller’s snaps all season long, but he saw an uptick in snaps on Wild Card Weekend. Miller created five pressures on just 16 pass-rush snaps (20 total) in the win earning him an 81.2 pass rush grade. Buffalo needs this from Miller throughout the entirety of the playoffs.

As the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills prepare to clash in the AFC Championship Game, both teams will have key players available who missed their earlier matchup this season. The Chiefs are expected to have five players back in the lineup who missed the previous game in Buffalo.

Defensive tackle DaRon Payne (knee/finger) also didn't practice along with linebacker Bobby Wagner (ankle). Tight end Zach Ertz (ribs) had a rest day, along with pass rusher Dante Fowler Jr. (non injury related).

But just as Andrews looked to run with the ball, Buffalo Bills linebacker Terrel Bernard landed a perfectly placed punch on the ball, knocking it out of Andrews’ left arm. Bernard fell on the fumble, and the Bills gained possession and drove down to kick the game-winning field goal.
