Two people were injured after a wrong-way driver crashed head-on into a another vehicle on the Southern State Parkway. The wreck occurred near exit 20S in Hempstead, at around 4:45 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 2.

A 54-year-old man died after having a medical episode while driving on the Garden State Parkway in Lakewood on Thursday, authorities said. Jarrod Kaufman was traveling north near milepost 88.2 at 7:10 a.m. when his vehicle veered off the road to the right into a briar patch, State Police said.
