The Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) has confirmed a measles case in a metro Atlanta resident who traveled within the U.S. while unvaccinated.

Georgia on Friday reported two more measles cases for a total of three, which officially marks an outbreak. All three cases are in one unvaccinated family in metro Atlanta. The first patient had been traveling within the United States.

According to a release from DPH, the two family members may have been exposed through contact with the first person who contracted the virus.
