The Lady Vols kept their place in the top 16 seeds with hosting privileges in the NCAA Tournament committee's second March Madness bracket reveal.

USC stepped into the No. 1 seed line, bumping South Carolina down to a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Division I Women's B Committee's second Top 16 reveal released on Thursday. The Gamecocks (25-3, 15-1 SEC) dropped a seed line following their blowout loss to UConn earlier this month.

In the projected bracket, USC would be in the same region with top seed Notre Dame, third-seeded Tennessee and fourth-seeded Oklahoma. Dawn Staley’s squad was ranked No. 2 overall in the first Top 16 rankings,
