Tuesday was the first time prosecutors revealed a portion of the video that shows a man who they allege is Richard Allen.

Witnesses testifying at the trial of the man accused of killing two teenage girls in Delphi, Ind., were questioned about the so-called "Bridge Guy," seen walking on the hiking trail where the girls were murdered.

A runner testified that she saw a man and two girls on the trail on the day the girls when missing. Day 5 of the trial continues Wednesday.

Three witnesses who were on the Monon High Bridge trail the day Libby and Abby were killed, including one who said she was best friends with Libby's older sister, testified Tuesday that a man they saw on the trail is "Bridge Guy" — the primary suspect depicted in a grainy photo police later shared to aid their investigation.

The teens, who were in eighth-grade at Delphi Community Middle School, were hiking on a day off from school on February 13, 2017, near the Monon High Bridge, an abandoned rail bridge along the 10-mile Delphi Historic Trail, Indiana State Police said.Hours later, they failed to meet Libby’s dad at a previously arranged time, police said.

The trial of Richard Allen in Delphi, Indiana, resumed on Wednesday with ongoing testimony after witnesses failed to definitely prove that a man seen in a video near the crime scene was the suspect. As CrimeOnline previously reported,
