The driver, an 84-year-old DeLeon Springs woman, pulled out of a parking spot around 2:43 p.m. near the Silver Beach Avenue ramp. When the driver made a right turn toward the beach exit, she ran over the New York woman sitting in a beach chair, according to the initial investigation.

The driver reportedly told investigators she did not realize she ran the woman over until she was chased down by a witness.

A driver on Daytona Beach ran over a person sitting on the sand. It happened, while the 71-year-old woman was sunbathing. It's another freak accident. Deputies say the driver was pulling out of a parking spot on the beach.

One person was left injured Wednesday morning after a vehicle was partially trapped underneath a tractor trailer that had rolled over on Interstate 64 in Fairview Heights. According to the Illinois State Police (ISP),

An elderly driver unknowingly ran over a woman's head on a Florida beach, leaving her with non-life-threatening injuries and in stable condition.
