Nebraska women’s volleyball coach John Cook has announced his retirement and Louisville coach Dani Busboom Kelly, who played for the Cornhuskers, is his successor.

Cook’s 32 years as a college head coach also include seven at Wisconsin. Since taking over the Nebraska program in 2000, Cook guided the Huskers to four national championships, 12 NCAA Semifinals appearances, nine Big 12 titles and five Big Ten titles.
