Eaton Fire initially started 6:18 p.m. Jan. 7 in Los Angeles County. Since its discovery a week ago, it has burned 14,117 acres. A fire crew of 3,235 has been working on site and, as of Tuesday noon, they managed to contain 35% of the fire. However, investigations into the cause are ongoing.

A growing force of firefighters battled massive infernos across the Los Angeles area on Monday as more powerful winds moved in and threatened recent progress against wildfires that have destroyed thousands of homes and killed at least 24 people.

Hurst Fire initially started 10:29 p.m. Jan. 7 in Los Angeles County. It has burned 799 acres after being active for six days. As of Monday evening, a fire crew of 300 succeeded in containing 97% of the fire. However, investigations into the cause are ongoing.
