Turkey's government says its military struck sites on Wednesday night in Iraq and Syria linked to Kurdish militant group the PKK, after blaming it for an attack near Ankara that killed at least five people.

Turkey said the strikes in Iraq and Syria targeted a Kurdish separatist group a day after an unclaimed attack on a defense contractor.

Four people were killed in a terror attack on the headquarters of Turkey's state-owned Turkish Aerospace Industries near Ankara, an official says.

The attack hit Turkish Aerospace Industries, which makes fighter jets and other equipment for NATO’s second largest military after the United States.

No group immediately claimed responsibility. Turkey’s interior minister said it was “most likely carried out” by the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK.
