Peggy Judd, one of two Republican Cochise County supervisors indicted for delaying certification of the 2022 election results, has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge in a deal with the state attorney general's office.

Cochise County Supervisor Peggy Judd has entered into a plea deal to avoid a felony after she and another supervisor delayed certifying the 2022 election over fears of non-existent voter fraud in Maricopa County.

Peggy Judd, who helps lead Cochise County, was indicted a year ago for allegedly flouting the state’s deadlines to formally accept the results of the 2022 midterm general election.
