Xavi took home the trophy for New Artist of the Year, while FloyyMenor and Cris Mj's "Gata Only"won Global 200 Latin Song of the Year

J Balvin was recognized for his philanthropic work at the Billboard Latin Music Awards on Sunday as the recipient of the Spirit of Hope Award.

J Balvin, Maria Becerra, Gloria Trevi and more posed on the carpet as they arrived for the ceremony, which will broadcast Sunday, Oct. 20.

Karol G, Bad Bunny and Peso Pluma were the big winners at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, but, unfortunately, did not attend the Florida ceremony. Karol G won eight prizes, including the trophies for Global 200 Latin Artist of the Year,

"The awards of the soul, helping a friend, serving others, those are the ones that are most worthwhile," the Colombian superstar said after accepting his trophy from Maluma.
