BERLIN, Conn. (WWLP) – Firefighters are working to contain a massive brush fire on Lamentation Mountain in Berlin, Connecticut. The fire started on Monday and has grown to about 25 to 40 acres in size. The Berlin Fire Department says it would probably be a two or three-day operation due to the terrain.

The National Weather Service said conditions in Massachusetts Thursday would be "favorable for wildfire spread."
