The 18-year-old was simply on his way to see a Lil Durk concert at the United Center when he was shot Sunday evening.

The young man was killed and two others were wounded during an attempted robbery while heading to the Lil Durk concert at the stadium this past weekend. Andrew Ramos reports.

Three teens were shot and wounded just steps from the United Center on the Near West Side Sunday evening. At 6:56 p.m., the victims were struck by gunfire in the 100 block of North Wolcott Avenue, near Maypole Avenue,

The 18-year-old victim has died after the attack, which happened minutes before the Lil Durk concert at United Center. Two others, a 19-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were hospitalized.

A community is in mourning after a teen was shot and killed during what his family called a violent robbery gone wrong while he headed to a concert in Chicago.
