The home itself is not that extensive, the rooms are interesting to view, but the featured art exhibits adjacent to the house itself take more time to appreciate. The current exhibit is very good and could take up to an hour. In all at least 2-3 hours to tour both. Your ticket includes everything.

Hi Sarah. Yes, Winston Salem does have a strong arts presence. Depending on who time of year, the Black Repotory theater comes yo town. UNC School of the Arts puts on shows through out the year. Community. Theater is also strong. If you come during November and December you can attend The Nutcracker as well.
