When visiting the National Motor Museum Shannon Rd, Birdwood SA make sure you have at least 3 to 4 hours to wander around the truely magnificent priceless exhibition.Full review by RustyHTims59

Isnt there any tour companys that do half day tours of the adelaide hills and incorporate the museum in their tour? Maybe one the does the museum and the big rocking horse and toy factory? Hello Jim B Unfortunately public transport to the National Motor Museum in the Adelaide Hills would involve you catching a train to the city, followed by a bus to Tea Tree Plaza, from there you could catch a bus to Birdwood. It would take around 2.5-3 hours I believe. The much easier and quicker way to get here is by car, it would take a bit over an hour. If it was me, I would be hiring a car. The Adelaide Hills is a fantastic place to take a day trip - or half day trip - lots of lovely wineries to visit and you could spend at least 1-2 hours here at the Museum.
