I just went to Hokitika gorge today after heavy rain and the water color is grey and swift. What I wonder is how long the river is going to turn back to blue color. I’m planing to go back again tomorrow.
A:
I suspect it's about the sky reflecting in the pools. If you have some sun you should see the blue colour
Q:
Can I walk my dog on a lead here?
A:
Don’t see why not
Q:
Can you visit without paying
Q:
Hi, is this place accessible to wheelchair?
A:
You should be able to access the view point and the bridge with someone helping. After the bridge, I believe, will not be accessible. Worth going and trying.
Q:
Hi, are you able to fish at his spot? Thank you
A:
Yes plenty of spots and nice rainbow trout too
